Dr. G is the newest member of the Troublemakers.
He's been an endurance athlete for years but only recently decided to try his hand at triathlon.
In 2001 he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and decided to pursue a long time dream of completing an Ironman.
The following spring he bought a new bike and started training. In the middle of the season he hooked up with the
Troublemakers for ride training and expanded his territory. That summer he completed his first ironman distance race
at Hope.
He's been an Ironman regular at Canada since then.
Now he's a regular Troublemaker. However, he does display a tendency to get lost. So, these days, there are plenty of
cell phones in the Troublemaker pack so that no one will get lost in the wilds. |
